The Indian Railways has announced the operation of 20+ special trains connecting Delhi to Bihar in anticipation of the Chhath Puja festivities. These specialized railway services have been introduced to accommodate the surge in passengers expected during the festive period.

Chhath Puja Special Train New Delhi to Patna Routes and Schedules:

• The Northern Railway (NR) has provided detailed information about these special trains. They will run from Anand Vihar Terminal (ANVT) in Delhi to various destinations in Bihar, including Patna Junction, Gaya, and Jaynagar.
• The Patna Junction to Anand Vihar Terminal Superfast Special train, identified as train number 03255, is scheduled to depart from Patna Junction at 10:20 PM every Thursday and Sunday from November 23, 2023, to December 10, 2023. It will arrive at Anand Vihar Terminal at 3:00 PM the following day.
• The Anand Vihar Terminal to Patna Junction Superfast Special train, train number 03256, will leave from Anand Vihar Terminal at 11:30 PM on every Friday and Monday from November 24, 2023, to December 11, 2023, and it will reach Patna Junction at 5:20 PM the next day.
• Both of these trains will make stops at various stations in both directions, including Danapur, Arrah Junction, Buxar, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn., Prayagraj Jn., and Kanpur Central.
• Additionally, the Patna Junction to Anand Vihar Terminal Superfast Special train, train number 02391, is scheduled to depart from Patna Junction at 10:20 PM every Saturday from November 25, 2023, to December 09, 2023. It will arrive at Anand Vihar Terminal at 3:00 PM the following day.
• The Anand Vihar Terminal to Patna Junction Superfast Special train, train number 02392, will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 11:30 PM every Sunday from November 26, 2023, to December 10, 2023, arriving at Patna Junction at 5:20 PM the next day. These trains will have stops at multiple stations.
• The Gaya to Anand Vihar Terminal Superfast Special train, train number 03635, will leave Gaya at 2:15 PM every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from November 20, 2023, to December 08, 2023. It will arrive at Anand Vihar Terminal at 5:00 AM the following day.
• The Anand Vihar Terminal to Gaya Superfast Special train, train number 03636, will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 7:00 AM on every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from November 21, 2023, to December 09, 2023. It will reach Gaya at 8:45 PM the next day. These trains will also make stops at various stations in both directions, including Anugrah Narayan Road, Dehri on Sone, Sasaram, Bhabua Road, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn., Prayagraj Jn., and Kanpur Central.
• The Jaynagar to Anand Vihar Terminal special train, train number 05557, will depart from Jaynagar at 6:00 AM every Tuesday from November 21, 2023, to December 05, 2023. It will arrive at Anand Vihar Terminal at 5:00 AM the following day.
• The Anand Vihar Terminal to Jaynagar special train, train number 05558, will leave Anand Vihar Terminal at 7:30 AM every Wednesday from November 22, 2023, to December 06, 2023. It will reach Jayanagar at 6:30 AM the next day. These trains will make stops at multiple stations in both directions, including Madhubani, Darbhanga Jn, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur Jn, Hajipur Jn, Chhapra, Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda Jn, Sitapur Jn, Moradabad, and Ghaziabad.
