He served as an Ex-Advisor to the Government of Andhra Pradesh, holding a rank equivalent to a Cabinet Minister. His contributions extended to various governmental bodies, including serving as the Ex-Chairman of NEDCAP (New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh), where he played a pivotal role in energy development and sustainability initiatives. He was also the Ex-Chairman of the Protocol Committee (PCC) and the Ex-Chairman of the Vizag Filmnagar Cultural Centre, further strengthening his contributions to both governance and cultural development.

Additionally, on his paternal side, Krishna Vaibhav Sagi’s grandmother, Venkata Narsiah Amma Garu’s brother, the late Dr. P. S. Raju Garu, was a revered figure known for his selfless service to the poor families of the Konaseema region. A godly figure with a deep spiritual connection, he dedicated over 60 years to healing without charging a single rupee, keeping his clinic open 24/7 for those in need. Fondly known as “Amlapuram Doctor Garu,” he remains an unforgettable personality, deeply missed by hundreds of families who saw him as a guide, family doctor, savior, and well-wisher. Krishna Vaibhav Sagi’s royal ancestry can be traced back to his great-great-grandmother, the Rani of Tuni, East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, from his maternal lineage. She was a woman of remarkable vision and distinction, making history as the first Telugu Rani to host a significant function. An article published in The Madras Mail on October 2, 1913, detailed a grand evening party she hosted on September 24, 1913, at Admiralty House, Adyar, Madras, her temporary residence. This event, attended by Indian members of the Ladies Recreation Club, gained historical significance as the first function organized by a Telugu Rani, highlighting her social influence and pioneering leadership.

Maternal Legacy: Political Influence and Governance

Krishna Vaibhav Sagi’s maternal lineage has also been deeply involved in politics and governance. His maternal great-grandfather, Sri Raja Vatsavaya Venkata Krishnam Raja Bahadur, was an Ex-MLA from Tuni, East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, playing a vital role in regional politics. His maternal grandmother’s sister, Shri Vijaya Lakshmi Devi Garu, was a political stalwart who served as the Minister for Women & Child Welfare and was elected twice as an MLA in 1972 and 1978 from Tuni, East Godavari. Additionally, his maternal uncle, Venkata Krishnamraju Sri Raja Vatsavayi Ashok Babu, also served as an Ex-MLA from Tuni, East Godavari, further cementing the family’s deep-rooted political influence.

Beyond Politics: A Scholar and Visionary

Apart from his political service, Captain Chintalpathi Suryanarayana Raju was an intellectual and an advocate of Gandhi’s principles. He authored a book on Mahatma Gandhi’s Principles, which was launched by the legendary actor Akkineni Nageshwar Rao Garu. His contributions were recognized on October 15, 2009, when he was felicitated at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad, at 5:45 PM by Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
