3 Minute Speech on Baisakhi

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone,,

Today, I would like to present Speech on Baisakhi to you about Baisakhi we are here to celebrate the festival of Baisakhi. It is a very important day for the people of Punjab and marks the beginning of the new year in the Punjabi calendar. The festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy, and it brings together people from all walks of life.

Baisakhi is also known as Vaisakhi and is celebrated on the 13th of April every year. The festival is of great significance to the Sikh community, as it marks the day when the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji, established the Khalsa Panth in 1699. The Khalsa Panth was established to fight against injustice and oppression and to uphold the values of equality, freedom, and justice.

On this day, people wake up early in the morning and take a bath in the holy river. They visit gurudwaras and offer prayers to seek blessings from the almighty. The festival is also marked by the bhangra dance, which is a popular folk dance of Punjab. People dress up in colourful traditional attire and perform the bhangra dance to the beat of dhol and other musical instruments.
