The much-anticipated India International Trade Fair (IITF) is set to kick off at Pragati Maidan, Delhi, from November 14 to 27. To enhance convenience, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced that entry tickets for this grand event will be available at 55 metro stations, starting from November 14 for business days and November 19 for general public days.

Why the Metro? Your Ticket to Seamless Access

In an effort to streamline the ticketing process and avoid overcrowding, the DMRC has strategically chosen 55 metro stations for ticket sales. Notably, Supreme Court metro station, the nearest to the IITF venue, will not sell tickets during this period, ensuring smooth passenger movement.

When and Where to Grab Your Tickets

IITF tickets for both business days (November 14–18) and general public days (November 19–27) can be purchased from customer care centers at the selected metro stations. The ticket counters will operate from 9 am to 4 pm daily, providing ample time for visitors to secure their entry passes.

Here’s a list of some of the metro stations where you purchase trade fair tickets :

  • Shaheed Sthal (New Bus Adda)
  • Dilshad Garden
  • Shahdara
  • Inderlok
  • Netaji Subhash Place
  • Rohini West
  • Rithala
  • Noida City Centre
  • Mandi House
  • Kashmere Gate
  • Barakhamba

A Glimpse into IITF: What to Expect

The 14-day international trade fair will host around 3,500 exhibitors from India and countries like UAE, Iran, and Thailand. Various Central government ministries, public sector units, and commodity boards will also participate, adding to the diversity of products and services on display.

Traffic Advisory: Plan Your Route Wisely

With the grand event set to attract a massive crowd, some traffic congestion is expected in the vicinity. To ensure a hassle-free journey, it is advisable for those not attending the trade fair to avoid Mathura Road, Bhairon Marg, Ring Road, Shershah Road, and Purana Quila Road during the two-week period.

Additionally, entry points have been strategically organized to manage the flow of visitors efficiently. Refer to the advisory for specific entry gates, ensuring a smooth entry into the trade fair grounds.

Conclusion:

Make your visit to the India International Trade Fair a breeze by securing your entry tickets at any of the 55 designated metro stations. With an array of exhibitors and a diverse range of products, IITF promises an enriching experience for all attendees.
